Here are some applications of the 455mm 110v 600w Ruby Round-Shape Halogen Heating Lamp in color blow molding machines:
Preheating of plastic raw materials
Improve temperature uniformity: In the process of color blow molding machines, the plastic raw materials must first be preheated. The Ruby halogen heating lamp can emit relatively uniform heat, heating the plastic raw materials in all directions, so that the raw material temperature rises quickly and evenly. This is crucial to ensure the smooth progress of the subsequent blow molding process, because uneven raw material temperature may cause quality problems such as uneven wall thickness and irregular shape of the blown bottles.
Accelerate the heating process: With its 600w power, the heating lamp can heat the plastic raw materials to a suitable temperature range in a short time, thereby improving the production efficiency of the color blow molding machine. For example, for commonly used plastic raw materials such as polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), it can quickly raise their temperature to a temperature range suitable for blow molding, reducing the time spent in the preheating link.
Mold heating and insulation
Maintaining stable mold temperature: During the blow molding process, the temperature of the mold has a significant impact on the molding quality of the bottle. When the plastic melt enters the mold, if the mold temperature is too low, the melt may cool and solidify quickly, resulting in problems such as rough bottle surface and internal stress; if the mold temperature is too high, it may make it difficult to demold the bottle or even deform it. The Ruby halogen heating lamp can be installed around the mold to continuously provide heat to make up for the heat lost by the mold during contact with the external environment, so that the mold temperature is kept within a relatively stable range, which helps to obtain high-quality blown bottles.
Precise temperature control: Its 110v working voltage and corresponding power design allow operators to adjust the output power of the heating lamp more conveniently according to different plastic raw materials and bottle requirements, thereby achieving precise control of the mold temperature. For example, when blowing some temperature-sensitive colored bottles, the power of the heating lamp can be fine-tuned to meet the requirements of the production process.
