The following are common applications of Goldisgood brand 425mm, 220v, 1100w transparent halogen infrared heating lamps for screen printers:
Applications in screen printing processes
Ink drying acceleration:
During the screen printing process, after the ink is printed on the substrate, it needs to be dried as quickly as possible for subsequent operations such as overprinting, cutting, etc. This infrared heating lamp can quickly release infrared heat, so that the solvent in the ink evaporates quickly, greatly accelerating the drying speed of the ink. Compared with natural drying, it can significantly shorten the drying time and improve production efficiency.
For printing of some thick ink layers or special ink formulas, natural drying may cause uneven drying or long drying time, affecting production progress, while this heating lamp can provide uniform and high-intensity heat to ensure that the ink dries evenly, avoiding the situation of partial undried or over-dried, thereby ensuring printing quality.
Substrate preheating treatment:
Preheating some substrates (such as plastic film, paper, etc.) before screen printing can improve the adhesion of ink. The heating lamp can effectively preheat the substrate, increase the surface temperature of the substrate, intensify its molecular movement and become more active, so that the ink can better penetrate and adhere to the substrate during printing, enhance the adhesion between the ink and the substrate, and reduce the quality problems such as fading and falling off of the printed pattern.
Applications related to improving printing quality
Improve the curing effect of ink:
In addition to drying the solvent in the ink, infrared heating can also promote the curing of components such as resin in the ink. For some inks that require good curing effects, such as UV inks, the use of this infrared heating lamp without UV lamp irradiation can fully cure the resin in the ink, improve the hardness, wear resistance and chemical resistance of the printed pattern, and thus improve the overall quality and service life of the printed product.
Different types of inks have different requirements for curing temperature and time. By adjusting the distance between the heating lamp and the substrate, heating time and other parameters, the curing conditions of the ink can be accurately controlled to meet the curing needs of various inks.
Eliminate printing defects:
Since the heating lamp can provide uniform heat, some printing defects caused by temperature differences can be effectively prevented during the printing process. For example, in cold weather or air-conditioned environments, low surface temperature of the substrate may cause poor ink fluidity, resulting in problems such as screen clogging and unclear printing. By using this heating lamp to preheat the substrate or maintain a certain temperature during printing, the fluidity of the ink can be improved, clear printing can be ensured, and such printing defects caused by temperature can be eliminated.
