Halogen infrared heating lamp
Basic principle
Halogen infrared heating lamp mainly heats the filament (usually tungsten filament) by passing current through the filament in the lamp tube. When the temperature of the filament rises, it will radiate infrared rays. The lamp tube is filled with halogen gas (such as iodine, bromine, etc.), which can react with the evaporated tungsten to form tungsten halides. Tungsten halides are decomposed by heat near the filament, causing tungsten to be re-deposited on the filament, thus extending the service life of the filament and ensuring that the heating lamp can continuously and stably emit infrared rays.
Application in heating and drying
Industrial field
In the coating industry, it is widely used in the spray drying process of automobiles, furniture, etc. For example, on the automobile production line, after the car body is sprayed with paint, the use of halogen infrared heating lamps can quickly dry the paint. Because infrared rays can penetrate the paint layer, the solvent in the paint evaporates quickly, thereby shortening the drying time and improving production efficiency. Moreover, this uniform heating method can avoid quality problems such as orange peel and bubbles on the paint surface.
In the printing industry, it is used to accelerate the drying of ink. After the paper is printed, the solvent in the ink evaporates quickly through the irradiation of the halogen infrared heating lamp, which reduces the time required for the ink to dry, allowing the printed matter to be processed or packaged faster, while also improving the quality of the printed matter and preventing the ink from getting dirty.
Agricultural field
In the processing of agricultural products, it is used to dry some crops. For example, when making dried fruits, the fruit is sliced \\u200b\\u200band placed in the drying equipment. The halogen infrared heating lamp can provide heat to evaporate the water in the fruit quickly, thus making dried fruits. This heating method is relatively gentle and can better preserve the nutrients of the fruit.
