Application in the Automatic Blow – molding Machine
Plastic Softening:
In the initial stage of blow – molding, the plastic material (usually in the form of pellets or a pre – made parison) needs to be heated to a temperature at which it becomes soft and stretchable. The 1000W halogen heating lamp plays a vital role in this process. As the plastic passes by the lamp or is placed in the heating zone of the blow – molding machine, the intense heat from the lamp causes the plastic’s molecular structure to loosen up. For example, in the production of plastic bottles, the polyethylene or polypropylene material is heated until it reaches a state where it can be easily blown into the shape of a bottle using compressed air.
Uniform Heating:
The 365mm length of the lamp helps in achieving uniform heating across a wide area of the plastic. This is crucial because uneven heating can lead to defects in the final product, such as thin spots or uneven wall thickness. The half – white reflective part of the lamp helps to distribute the heat more evenly by reflecting the infrared radiation back onto the plastic from different angles. In an automatic blow – molding process, where precision and consistency are key, this uniform heating provided by the lamp ensures that each product coming out of the machine has the same high – quality standards.
Process Efficiency:
The high power of the lamp (1000W) and its ability to quickly heat the plastic contribute to the overall efficiency of the blow – molding process. By reducing the heating time, the production rate of the blow – molding machine can be increased. For example, in a high – volume production facility that manufactures plastic containers, using this efficient halogen heating lamp can lead to a significant increase in the number of products produced per hour, thus improving the productivity and profitability of the operation.
