320mm560mm230v 2000w SK15 Clear/Half White Plated Halogen Infrared Heat Lamp For Plastic Moulding Goldisgood application
Preheating function in plastic molding
Mold preheating: In the plastic molding process, the mold temperature has a great influence on the molding quality. This 320mm – 560mm, 230V, 2000W SK15 halogen infrared heating lamp can be used to preheat the mold. Its powerful power (2000W) can generate enough heat to quickly bring the mold to a suitable working temperature through infrared radiation. For example, in injection molding, the preheated mold can improve the fluidity of the plastic melt. For some high-viscosity plastics, such as engineering plastic polycarbonate (PC), preheating the mold can make the melt better fill the mold cavity and reduce molding defects such as short shots, weld marks, etc.
Raw material preheating: In addition to the mold, it can also be used to preheat plastic raw materials. For some temperature-sensitive plastic raw materials, such as thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), the infrared rays emitted by the heating lamp can increase the temperature of the raw materials, reduce their viscosity, and facilitate subsequent molding operations. This can make the plastic more evenly distributed during the molding process, improving the quality and performance of plastic products.
Curing promotion in plastic molding
Accelerate resin curing: When using thermosetting resins for plastic molding, such as epoxy resins, this heating lamp can accelerate the curing process of the resin. Infrared radiation can penetrate the resin layer and accelerate the molecular reaction inside the resin, thereby shortening the curing time. This helps to improve production efficiency, and due to uniform heating, it can reduce the internal stress generated during the resin curing process and improve the stability and strength of plastic products.
