Halogen heating lamps have a wide range of applications: Industrial applications
  • Drying processes: In the manufacturing of paints, coatings, and inks, halogen heating lamps are used to dry the products quickly. For example, in a paint – spraying production line, after the paint is sprayed onto the surface of an object, halogen lamps can emit infrared radiation to accelerate the evaporation of solvents in the paint, which significantly shortens the drying time and improves production efficiency.
  • Plastic thermoforming: When processing plastics such as PVC, ABS, and polypropylene, halogen heating lamps provide the necessary heat to soften the plastic so that it can be molded into the desired shape. The infrared heat generated by the lamps can penetrate the plastic material to a certain extent, ensuring uniform heating and better – quality formed products.
  • Textile industry: They are used for fabric drying and heat – setting. In textile printing and dyeing factories, after fabrics are dyed or printed, halogen lamps can be used to dry the fabrics. At the same time, for some synthetic fibers, heat – setting through halogen heating lamps can fix the fiber shape and improve the dimensional stability of the fabric.
