Carbon fiber infrared technology has a wide range of applications:

1. Heating in the Industrial Field

  • Drying Processes:
    • In the printing industry, carbon fiber infrared heaters are used to dry inks quickly. The infrared radiation can penetrate the ink layer and cause the water or solvents in the ink to evaporate rapidly. This significantly speeds up the drying process and improves production efficiency. For example, in a high – speed newspaper printing press, carbon fiber infrared heaters can ensure that the ink is dry before the newspapers are stacked.
    • In the paint and coating industry, it is used for curing coatings. When a layer of paint or varnish is applied to a product such as a wooden furniture piece or a metal part, carbon fiber infrared heaters can provide the necessary heat to cure the coating. The infrared radiation promotes the chemical reactions required for the coating to harden, resulting in a more durable and smooth finish.
  • Plastic Forming:
    • In plastic thermoforming processes, carbon fiber infrared heaters are used to heat plastic sheets. The infrared radiation heats the plastic evenly, allowing it to be molded into the desired shape more easily. For example, in the production of plastic containers or automotive parts, the plastic sheets are heated using carbon fiber infrared heaters until they are pliable enough to be formed into the final product shape.
